BECOME A MEMBER

WAFA membership is based on the Calendar year with membership renewal due 4 weeks before membership expiry.

The annual WAFA Individual Membership fees are as follows:

  • Ordinary Employed member - $20;
  • Ordinary Unemployed* (or low income earner) member - $10
    * certified copy of Health care card or equivalent

The annual WAFA Organisational membership fees are as follows:

  1.    1 - 50   members - $200
  2. > 50 - 500 members - $500
  3. > 500         members - $800

A new, enthusiastic board is in place and we are working on some great new projects including:

  1. Promoting membership as an active and engaged pursuit.
    What can YOU do for Australia's only National Women and Firefighting organisation?
    How can we together make this a relevant, engaged and interesting network?
  2. Planning our 2016 conference

WAFA Gender Balance Overview

The Gender Balance Overview of Australasian Firefighters 2015 is a WAFA initiative to establish the current state of... play for all Fire Agencies within Australasia....  

As a base we hope it will encourage Agencies to set statistical objectives for gender balance and, in turn, improve all diversity reporting.
