Most agencies are committed to gender equity in principle. WAFA does the work that turns that commitment into culture – holding seats on steering committees, funding leadership scholarships, advocating for PPE that fits, and running the sector's most important annual conference on gender equity in fire and emergency services.

When your agency becomes a member, you back that work directly.

Organisational membership doesn't include individual memberships. Individual memberships are available separately for $25 per person per year.

  • 1–49 staff and/or volunteers — $220+ GST per year

  • 50–499 staff and/or volunteers — $550 + GST per year

  • 500+ staff and/or volunteers — $800 + GST per year
