For Organisations
Back the organisation changing fire & emergency services for women
Organisational membership starts at $300 a year, scaled to your workforce.
Commitment means nothing without action.
Most agencies are committed to gender equity in principle. WAFA does the work that turns that commitment into culture – holding seats on steering committees, funding leadership scholarships, advocating for PPE that fits, and running the sector's most important annual conference on gender equity in fire and emergency services.
When your agency becomes a member, you back that work directly.
Your membership supports:Seats on national steering committees and sector-working groups
Leadership scholarships for women who would not otherwise have access
Advocacy for gender-inclusive PPE, facilities, health policies and workplace practices
Webinars, resources and practical information to support recruitment, retention, career development and leadership pathways
Networking, mentoring, professional development and sector-wide learning
Media, conferences and keynote speaking to increase visibility of women’s experiences, expertise and leadership
Annual WAFA conference, co-located with AFAC, to connect women, influence change and strengthen the sector
Your membership includes:
Share your agency's stories through WAFA's newsletter across Australia and New Zealand
Discounted conference packages and priority sponsorship opportunities
Access to a national network of women and allies across the sector
Measurable, reportable outcomes against your gender equity commitments
Connect your people with mentoring and peer support through WAFA
